ABOUT LEGACY

The Legacy program, founded in 1997, was established to motivate and develop all our program participants in the world of All-Star Competitive cheerleading while also building their self-esteem and confidence.

Each year, our program continues to help our participants to develop their individual skills to their own personal best while also learning lessons in teamwork and unity.  All Mini, Junior, and Senior Legacy Teams are first come, first serve placement teams.  Anyone interested in cheering for these teams will be placed on them regardless of current skills or ability.

The 2005-2006 teams from youngest to oldest, are:

Mini

The Mini (or Youth) team is the newest addition to the Legacy family.  Minis are the youngest cheerleaders, starting at age 4 and going through 4th grade.  This team is intended to introduce younger participants to the fun and excitement of cheerleading, while developing their basic cheerleading and tumbling knowledge.

Junior

The Legacy Junior Team was founded in 2001 and has since had 3 strong seasons bringing home two MAJOR National titles and numerous first place finishes.  This Co-Ed team is a traveling team participating in regional and national competitions.  Juniors are typically 5th through 8th graders..

Senior

The Legacy Senior Team had its first season in 2002 and has continued to gain momentum each year bringing home a number of first place titles in the 2004-2005 Season.  Seniors are usually high school students.  The Senior team is also a traveling team that participates in both regional and national competitions.

Open

The original Legacy team returned in 2004!  The Open team is for participants who have graduated from high school and want to continue cheering at the collegiate level.  The Legacy Open Team is a tryout for placement team, holding spots for the most elite cheerleaders in the area.
